With the help of an optometrist, a technology company and an engineer, we outfitted classic scenic viewers with special lenses that can help alleviate red-green color deficiency. Then, on October 26th 2017, we permanently installed the viewers at three of Tennessee’s most impressive fall look-outs. We invited colorblind people to use them and captured their reactions for an emotional short film that was posted online and distributed to national media outlets

To celebrate Tennessee’s deep musical roots, We took Jack White’s Third Man Records 333 feet underground in a cave for a historic music event. And we took 333 lucky fans with us.

Americans spend over two months researching where to go on vacation. They want every moment to be perfect.
Between page load and pre-roll play, Matchmaker analyzed millions of data points about the viewer. Then it scanned hundreds of video clips of Tennessee activities to find matches which were then edited into a commercial perfectly aligned with the viewer’s interests. All in real-time.

People thought Nashville, Tennessee was only for country music fans. But Nashville had evolved into a must-see destination for all music fans. Our challenge was to change perceptions and inspire people to visit. The result was a one-hour documentary called “For the Love of Music” starring 24 famous musicians that have helped shape music.

Tennessee transplant Garth Brooks was about to become the only artist in history to have seven diamond albums. (One diamond = 10 million albums sold.) More than The Beatles, Elvis, Led Zeppelin … anyone. And all seven albums were recorded in Tennessee.
So we turned this historic moment into a huge celebration with an official award ceremony for Garth and a free concert for him to thank his fans. The catch? Following Tennessee’s new Snapchat channel would be the only way to get in.

Tennessee is the birthplace of several genres of music, and many famous artists live in the state. So its common for them to play in local bars and venues. Even on street corners. To give people in other states a taste of what that’s like, we put on the first interactive live-streamed concert.
Over the course of three days, four artists were beamed from multiple cities in Tennessee to a sidewalk in downtown Chicago via a two-sided digital billboard. The screen showed a live stream of both the front and the back of the artists, giving the appearance that they were actually standing on the sidewalk. Passers-by not only got an intimate concert, they could interact with the artists—who took song requests, signed posters, and even gave away trips to Tennessee.

Kansas City’s Union Station, one of America’s most historic train stations, was approaching its 100th anniversary and was suffering from declining foot traffic. To celebrate its birthday, it first needed to remind people why it was worth celebrating. Enter the Living History app from Union Station Kansas City.
Through augmented reality technology, we brought history to life exactly where it took place through filmed reenactments of the station’s most historic events.
